Mumm Construction is a 3rd generation home construction company serving the Champaign - Urbana Illinois (IL) and the surrounding communities for over 40 years. As a design build corporation, we are dedicated to assisting home owners from design through construction.

We build energy efficient homes the right way. Using our long-term approach we consider the current long term impact of design choices so that we can ensure your home retains a high resale value in the future.

A home is often your largest investment, so it's nice to know that while we're building your home today, we've also got an eye on making sure it's as easy to sell as possible in the future.

Tom Mumm

Home Builder

Tom's father was a carpenter back in the late 1950’s and Tom started helping him as a young boy. His love for the trade inspired him to get a Bachelor Degree in Construction Management from Bradley University. In 1977, Tom opened his business as a General Contractor. He started out building small dwellings for the University of Illinois before building custom residential homes for people in the central Illinois area.

Bradley Mumm

Home Builder

Bradley took the same path as his father and grandfather, swinging a hammer as soon as he could pick one up. Bradley obtained a Bachelor degree in Construction Management from Illinois State University and spent a few years working at Kurland Steel before coming back to Mumm Construction to grow the home construction business.

We are a hands on company. Brad or Tom, will be on site daily making sure the job is going as planned, protecting your interests. Some of the services Mumm Construction provide are:
